Soap Requests from NIGERIA:
I've been
bombarded by requests to ship to Nigeria on credit
card. I will no longer reply to those many requests. I do
not ship to Nigeria and I am not set up to accept credit

![[Fresh Cut Soaps]](soap/SpCutting2.jpg)
Newly cut soaps. At the suggestion of a friend, I decided to sell them
with the bumpy tops untrimmed...
It provides a little more soap for the
money. :-)
|
Available soaps will change constantly as I
make different batches and sell out on others. I will probably not
have set "lines" of soap like a regular business (although some
varieties will remain fairly constant if they are popular)... this is
a part time operation and I'm still a hobbyist at heart. The page was
posted to help others make soap and expanded because you all had so
much interest in the subject... soap selling is an offshoot of
that.

POSTAL NEWS
FLASH! - While it lasts I can offer
Flat Rate Priority Mail ... Anything you can
stuff into one of those cardboard envelopes that's less than
4 pounds can be sent for $4.80... to ALL
ZONES (Rate increased
on 12 May 2008]. This will be great for my customers in
higher zones who want a cheaper shipping option and are
ordering in smaller quantities. I can ship
anywhere
from 4 to 8
soaps in one
of those if I reinforce it with tape! :-) I bag each bar of
soap so if the outer envelope gets wet the soaps should
still be just fine on your end.
Orders of 4 to 8 bars will
automatically be sent this way unless you specify that you
want to pay more to have it mailed in a
box.
For orders that are 10 or
more bars, I now have a wonderful option of
Flat Rate
BOX. Whatever I can
fit into one of two box sizes can be mailed anywhere in the
U.S. for $9.80 postage cost
(Rate increased
on 12 May 2008). This is a much better value, however, if you are ordering more than ten soaps. |
AOL Users: If
you place a soap order from me and don't receive a reply, it
is likely because your AOL account has a filter or block
that refuses my messages. Please be sure to add my order
email address to your "accept" list before you place your
order so that my response can get through. Thanks!

Bar Soaps for Sale
(Vegetable
Based):
- Alicia's Facial
Soap
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: shea butter, Dead Sea mud, tea
tree and peppermint essential oils, fragrance oil.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $4.75 each
-
- This is a bit of a departure from my usual and due to
some of the special ingredients, it costs a little more.
There is a story behind this. Alicia is a friend of one
of my daughters, but is more like family since she lived
with us for awhile and has been a part of our lives since
she was a toddler. I'd given her a slice of a Dead Sea
mud soap that a friend had made and she was so impressed
with how nice it was on her skin she wanted to be able to
get more when that one ran out. She's very fussy about
her skin care products, so that got my attention. This is
an economy version of the super expensive soap that my
friend made! ;-) The addition of tea tree
oil and Dead Sea mud should be great for your complexion.
The scent is cool and refreshing.

|
- Apple Slice NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- The first name for this was "Authentically Awesome
Apple" but I thought that was a bit much to squeeze onto
the label. This scent is not like the other apple scents
I've offered... it truly smells like a bowl of fresh
apple slices! I couldn't decide which type of apple...
but some have said it resembles a popular fragrance
called "Macintosh Apple." If you're an apple lover, be
sure to give yourself a treat and try this one... just be
careful not to take a bite!
|
|
- Citrus Kiss NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, dried lemon peel, titanium dioxide, wax color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/$3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- Yummy combination of lemon, grapefruit (light) and a touch of spice. It almost smells edible, like a moist cake with a delicious lemon frosting. Hmmm... I think I'm getting hungry.
|
|
- Cool Hand Cuke
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, peppermint
essential oil, wax color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- Cucumber scent with a hint of mint and a breath of bergamot. I was trying to think of a name that would describe "cool" with cucumber and ended up with this one. It was only afterward I realized the batch of soap was made on Paul Newman's birthday! (I heard the date mentioned on TV.) All the more fitting, I suppose. :-)
|
|
- Cucumber Cruise NEW! (5 bars available)
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, green oxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- This is a great unisex blend! I had a trouble
deciding what to call it... "Salty Cucumber" might have
been cuter, but I was afraid you'd expect it to smell
like dill pickles! Instead... it's a clean blend of
cucumber, ocean, herbal... very hard to describe. If I
had to sum it up... it's as exhilarating as a breath of fresh air! Reminds me a little bit of the B&B
scent called Sweet Citrus Basil.
|
|
- Cucumber-Melon NEW! (Available August 3rd)
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, wax color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- A perennial favorite and one of mine as well! I call
this ... clean, green and slightly sweet. Loved by both
sexes. I don't like to eat either of these foods (except
for pickles)... but sure love their scents in the
soap! :-) I departed from green this time and went with a soft warm pink color.
|
|
- Egyptian Mystery
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, ultramarines and oxides.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- If you love a soft, slightly sweet, yet earthy scent, this blend of Egyptian musk and sandalwood is for you. Complex and exotic without being heavy. Unisex.
-
|
|
- Frankincense &
Myrrh
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- I make this for the holidays, but there are folks
that enjoy it's clean, resinous scent in any season. This
frankincense and myrrh scent has been enhanced with
touches of vanilla and amber... earthy, exotic and
soothing! (This year's F&M has a slightly "smokey" note to it, compared to some I've done in the past.)
|
|
- Juniper Breeze
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, seafoam and blue ultramarines.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- Ever since I received some hand lotion in this
fragrance years ago, I've wished to make a batch of soap
with it. The problem was finding a good supplier for the
scent. This is another ever popular blend that originated
with Bath and Body Works and now I have to figure out how
to describe it for those who have not had the pleasure!
I'd call it a soft, clean, refreshing scent that is on
the "cool side." It's certainly not what my nose has
learned to associate with juniper in the garden! (Who let
the cat in?) This is a scent that both male and female
can enjoy!
|
|
- Licorice (Anise)
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: essential oil, fragrance oil,
black oxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- A nice anise/licorice scent without
being too heavy. For the outdoorsman in your family...
this is touted to mask human scent and for those who want
a soap that will remove odors from clothing items... this
fills the bill (see the soap testimonial page).
Anise seems to be one of those love-hate scents... like
patchouli. I either have people going into ecstasy over
this soap immediately, or recoiling from it. The ones who
love it always ask if I'm going to have it for the
holidays! :-) The scent is much like "Good and Plenty"
candies.
|
|
- Linden ... Popular fragrance in Europe NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified coconut, olive, palm, canola and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, wax color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- The first time I smelled this fragrance was at a local
nursery. They had boxes of small imported French soaps
near the register. There was one that was this kind of a
bright spring green and the box was emptier than the
others. When I sniffed one of the small bars, I knew why. What an appealing and fresh scent! It's light,
clean, and green at the same time. Linden is a
type of tree that flowers in spring with lots of
nondescript creamy blossoms that hang in clusters. They
do have a clean, sweet fragrance though (with a bit of a
resinous topnote). It reminds me of the emerging
buds on some poplar trees we have... they are
covered with a sticky resin that resembles this
fragrance. When I had fifteen batches of soap curing on
the dining table, it was this bar the neighbor boy
picked up and said, "I like THIS one." It really
proves to be a unisex scent.

|
- Orange Blossom
Special (3 bars left)
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- I'm probably dating myself using this name... it's a
very popular and famous fiddle tune my parents
loved. :-) This soap really does have a special
quality... it's the combination of a coconutty tropical
scent with orange blossom. The two together are wonderful and I actually prefer this over
orange blossom by itself! Transport yourself with this
lovely fragrance, which is not too sweet or heavy, but
exotic and uplifting.
|
|
- Piña Colada NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, calendula petals, titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- I'm not a drinker, but didn't know what else to call
this combination of coconut and pineapple scent.
Smells YUMMY! Bars are cream/white with gold flecks from
the calendula petals. This is just the greatest smell in the bath! Seems to get a
great response from visitors to the house who like to
pick up the curing bars of all the current batches and
sniff.
|
|
- Pinot & Pomme
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, burgundy oxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- This is a blend of apple-pear with a hit of fresh wine fragrance. It's similar to the Bramble Ramble, but without the blackberry... light, fresh and sweet! Great for those who have sensitive noses.
-
|
|
- Plumeria NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, calendula petals, titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- Wow! I keep repeating this popular scent at any time
of year, even though some folks might only associate it
with summertime. It is just the yummiest fragrance! The scent of plumeria flowers has a fruity
quality and sends most folks into ecstasy... whether
they've been to Hawaii or not! One of my personal
favorites.
|
|
- Rhubarb Tart
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- I'm excited about this new fragrance... every time I walked by the curing soap I had the hugest craving for rhubarb pie... It smells SO close to the real deal! A touch of strawberry rounds out this mouthwatering rhubarb scent.
-
|
|
- Rosemary and Mint NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, peppermint
essential oil, dried rosemary leaves, titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- A classic wake-up fragrance... appealing
to both sexes. It's hard to describe the effect this
scent has, but to me it's both stimulating and soothing
at the same time. The rosemary leaves were grown in my
garden.
|
|
- Rugged NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive pomace oil, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, green and aquamarine oxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- If you like a no-nonsense, brisk and "non-sweet" fragrance... this one is the ticket! It's a refreshing blend of lavender, sagebrush and sweetgrass. Should appeal to men and women alike.
|
|
- Sandalwood-Vanilla (Milk Soap) NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: evaporated goat's milk, fragrance oil.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix & Match)
-
- This mellow blend of vanilla and sandalwood is always
a winner! A thumbs up for both men and women... soothing
and sensual. This version has the added qualities of goat's milk.
|
|
- Satsuma-Guava NEW!
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- My daughter has been wanting a good citrus scent for
a long time... especially something more along the
mandarin orange line. This Satsuma blend is great!
It has become the new favorite of quite a few of the young
adults in my life.
|
|
- White Lily
-
- Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and
cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil,
titanium dioxide.
- Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.75 each (Mix &
Match)
-
- I'm really excited about this scent... it's light,
sweet and elusive. Madonna lily was the closest thing I
could compare it to... unlike most other lilies, they
have a scent you just can't get enough of... the same way
I feel about Freesia. If you don't like strong or heavy
florals... you will LOVE this! What is
particularly amazing is how this scent just gets better
and better in the soap... as light and exquisite as it
is... it endures. :-)

I now have a PayPal account for those who would rather use this convenient
method for payment.*** Pay Pal would allow
you to pay me immediately
after
receiving my email confirmation and I could have your soaps
in the mail by the next day. This will come in
quite handy during the holiday season and hasten delivery
for folks who wish to use it. The old pay by mail method
will still be used as well... for those who are not in a
hurry for their soaps and don't have a PayPal account. When
you go to PayPal to make your payment, you will use my email

PLEASE WAIT until I
confirm your exact amount owed BEFORE you make
your PayPal payment. At the time you pay, PayPal
