Homemade Soaps for Sale

Silverdale, Washington 98383

To Wholesalers: I'm not accepting wholesale inquiries at this time. Thank you! :-)

Soap Requests from NIGERIA or anyone else spamming for overseas shipments on credit card: I will no longer reply to those many requests. I am NOT set up to accept credit card transactions from anyone.

[Fresh Cut Soaps]

Newly cut soaps. At the suggestion of a friend, I decided to sell them with the bumpy tops untrimmed...

It provides a little more soap for the money. :-)

Available soaps will change constantly as I make different batches and sell out on others. I will probably not have set "lines" of soap like a regular business (although some varieties will remain fairly constant if they are popular)... this is a part time operation and I'm still a hobbyist at heart. The page was posted to help others make soap and expanded because you all had so much interest in the subject... soap selling is an offshoot of that.

POSTAL NEWS FLASH! - While it lasts I can offer Flat Rate Priority Mail ... Anything you can stuff into one of those cardboard envelopes that's less than 4 pounds can be sent for $4.80 (when I use Click 'n' Ship and get a slight discount)... to ALL ZONES. This will be great for customers in higher zones who want a cheaper shipping option and are ordering in smaller quantities. I can ship anywhere from 4 to 8 soaps in one of those if I reinforce it with tape! :-) I bag each bar of soap so if the outer envelope gets wet the soaps should be just fine on your end. Orders of 4 to 8 bars will automatically be sent this way unless you specify that you want to pay more to have it mailed in a box.

For orders that are 10 or more bars, there is a wonderful option of Flat Rate BOX. Whatever I can fit into a standard Flat Rate Box can be mailed anywhere in the U.S. for $9.85 postage cost (I save you 50¢ by using Click 'n' Ship online). This is a much better value, however, if you are ordering more than ten soaps.

AOL Users: If you place a soap order from me and don't receive a reply, it is likely because your AOL account has a filter or block that refuses my messages. Please be sure to add my order email address to your "accept" list before you place your order so that my response can get through. Thanks! :-)

Bar Soaps for Sale (Vegetable Based):

Alicia's Facial Soap NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: shea butter, Dead Sea mud, tea tree and peppermint essential oils, fragrance oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $4.95 each

This is a bit of a departure from my usual and due to some of the special ingredients, it costs a little more. There is a story behind this. Alicia is a friend of one of my daughters, but is more like family since she lived with us for awhile and has been a part of our lives since she was a toddler. I'd given her a slice of a Dead Sea mud soap that a friend had made and she was so impressed with how nice it was on her skin she wanted to be able to get more when that one ran out. She's very fussy about her skin care products, so that got my attention. This is an economy version of the super expensive soap that my friend made! ;-) The addition of tea tree oil and Dead Sea mud should be great for your complexion. The scent is cool and refreshing.
[Alicia's Facial Soap]

Apple Blossom NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: soap chunks, fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A lovely scent to usher in the spring months (or at any time). I've added just a touch of lily of the valley this time to round out the fragrance and I'm very happy with the result. Fresh, slightly astringent and exhilarating. This is a great smell for both sexes, since it is not too sweet or heavy.
[Apple Blossom Soap]

Baywood (5 bars left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance and essential oils.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

I was having trouble coming up with a name for this soap and a gal from my church suggested the one you see. Sounded good to me! :-) Now for the difficult task of describing this masculine, complex scent blend. At its foundation are Douglas Fir, sandalwood, oakmoss and bay. Soften that with a bit of vanilla and black plum and then for the final pizzazz a pinch of black pepper. The whole thing is masculine (but not just for men), earthy, rich and exhilarating. If you liked the Douglas Firbanks blend, you'll probably enjoy this also. The response to this last season was good. :-)
[Baywood Soap]

Citrus-Balsam NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

This citrusy Christmas blend is enhanced with notes of balsam fir. Soft to mid-range in intensity to my nose... nothing in here will remind you in the least of pinesol! Instead it will be a warm rendition of fresh, evergreen outdoor air. Lovely for both sexes!
[Citrus-Balsam Soap]

Cucumber-Melon NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, seafoam and green oxide and ultramarine.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A perennial favorite and one of mine as well! I call this ... clean, green and slightly sweet. Loved by both sexes. I don't like to eat either of these foods (except for pickles)... but sure love their scents in the soap! :-) This batch is not one I mixed myself, but pre-blended from a supplier. The cucumber and melon notes are more balanced and it's harder to isolate one or the other. Very nice... and not too sweet a take on this popular blend. A slightly earthy bottom note gives it a realistic tone.
[Cucumber-Melon Soap]

Firberry NEW!

Ingredients: saponified coconut, palm, olive, olive pomace and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

It was a struggle to figure out what to call this! Now my job is to describe it. I'd say it's the quintessential holiday fragrance... a mingling of spice, bayberry, cranberry and Douglas fir. Talk about a cozy fragrance that will appeal to both sexes! This is not too heavy and the evergreen note is refreshing and nothing like Pinesol. ;-) You'll think you just walked into the living room on Christmas Eve. The color of the soap is more subdued than the scan to the right.
[Firberry Soap]

Fresh! NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, seafoam and blue ultramarines.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

For the man in your life that wants soap to smell like soap... a brisk, clean scent that smells... well... soapy! :-) It's been a long time since I've used or sniffed a bar of Zest... but I think it's pretty close.
[Fresh! Soap]

Hint of Mint NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: soap chunks, fragrance oil, spearmint essential oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

This creamy yellow bar with bits of soft green is scented with a blend of spring herbal, honeysuckle and spearmint. The overall effect is complex, light and refreshing. In a sniff test, the spearmint is the first thing to hit the nose. Not so sweet that the menfolk won't enjoy using it. :-)
[Hint of Mint Soap]

Lavender Flowers NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, dried lavender buds, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Wonderful scent! It is is clean and unisex... the little flecks are provided by real lavender blossoms.

[Lavender Flowers Soap]

Lilac NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, violet ultramarine, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The scent of lilacs never goes out of style. This is about as close to the real thing as you can get.
[Lilac Soap]

Lily of the Valley NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Lily of the Valley is a classic light floral. This particular fragrance has a bit of earthy bass note added to it that makes it more sensual than the previous lily of the valley FO I'd used. A popular women's fragrance that is sure to please!
[Lily of the Valley Soap]

Linden ... Popular fragrance in Europe NEW!

Ingredients: saponified coconut, palm, olive, olive pomace and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, wax color, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The first time I smelled this fragrance was at a local nursery. They had boxes of small imported French soaps near the register. There was one that was this kind of a bright spring green and the box was emptier than the others. When I sniffed one of the small bars, I knew why. What an appealing and fresh scent! It's light, clean, and green at the same time. Linden is a type of tree that flowers in spring with lots of nondescript creamy blossoms that hang in clusters. They do have a clean, sweet fragrance though (with a bit of a resinous topnote). It reminds me of the emerging buds on some poplar trees we have... they are covered with a sticky resin that resembles this fragrance. When I had fifteen batches of soap curing on the dining table, it was this bar the neighbor boy picked up and said, "I like THIS one." It really proves to be a unisex scent. A furnace repair guy who came to the house was offered an array of scents from which to choose and of the two bars he picked, this was the one he liked most. :-)

[Linden Soap]

Mandarin-Coriander NEW! (1 bar available)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, dried orange peel, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Someone shared a bar of this scent and I had to have some for my own! ;-) I've sweetened the original slightly by spiking it with another fragrance I had here... the effect is spritely, not too heavy or sweet. A refreshing bar for the kitchen or bath. My daughter, Kristine, loves this one. :-)
[Mandarin-Coriander Soap]

Orchid Lily NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, pink and violet ultramarines, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

An exquisite blend of spring herbal with white lily. If you liked the "Rain Lily," you'll love this too... a light, fresh and classy floral. There's an unexpected undertone in this blend that reminds me of tulips... I'd first said grape hyacinths... but I just tested the scent again. It's evolved during cure. [Color is a bit brighter than scan at right].
[Orchid Lily Soap]

Plumeria NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, calendula petals, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Wow! I keep repeating this popular scent at any time of year, even though some folks might only associate it with summertime. It is just the yummiest fragrance! The scent of plumeria flowers has a fruity quality and sends most folks into ecstasy... whether they've been to Hawaii or not! One of my personal favorites.
[Plumeria Soap]

Peachy! NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Ooooh! ... this is so deliciously scented. Juicy peach with a big hit of almond. Doesn't get any better than that. :-)
[Peachy! Soap]

Peony NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, ultramarine pink and violet, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Well... what was supposed to be a pretty swirl came out more like a batik! When working with a new fragrance, one doesn't always know what to expect. I should keep these things to myself and then you'd think I was trying for this effect all along! ;-) The bars are mostly a soft, cool pink with bits of violet here and there... some a lot and some a little. I'm kind of a stickler when it comes to garden scents. The peony fragrance to my nose was a tad "thin" compared to the real thing, so I spiked it a teensy bit with a touch of clove and some honeysuckle... to give it more body and sweetness. After a few weeks of curing time, it comes pretty darn close. :-) If you like complex florals, give this a try!
[Peony Soap]

Raspberry NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD & C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The fragrance blend used in this batch was called "Raspberry Fig," but fig is not what first hits the nose. It softens and sweetens the raspberry notes. This batch was another that I'd hoped to get a darker color. What resulted is a soft, antique rose shade.
[Raspberry Soap]

Satsuma-Guava NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

My daughter has been wanting a good citrus scent for a long time... especially something more along the mandarin orange line. This Satsuma blend is great! It has become the new favorite of quite a few of the young adults in my life. The current batch is a slightly softer, pinkier shade than the image at right.
[Satsuma-Guava Soap]

Strawberry Cup NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, wax color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

This scent blend is strawberry, apple and pear. What was intended as pearberry didn't quite translate that way. All I can detect at the moment is strawberry... and lots of it! :-) It even has that touch of rhubarb around the edges, but I didn't add any. If you like strawberry pie, give this a try! (How's that for a rhyme?) This is one of those occasional batches that needed a remelting process (temperamental fragrances sometimes cause that to be necessary)... so the soap has a slightly different texture. Still the same, good smelling soap in the end. :-)
[Strawberry Cup Soap]

Synergy NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: soap chips, essential and fragrance oils of grapefruit, lavender, bergamot and patchouli.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 (Mix & Match)

Return of an old favorite ... an refreshing blend in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. To my nose it leads off with bergamot, followed by citrus and a supporting cast of lavender and a titch of patchouli. This is a really zingy fragrance! :-) Clean, fresh and unisex.
[Synergy Soap]

Tropical Trio NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD & C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Yummy would be the one word description of this fragrance combination! A blending of kiwi-fruit, ambrosia, hibiscus and other things fruity and tropical. While there are fruity notes in the blend, it doesn't make you want to eat it, as much as it transports you to some exotic island paradise. I'd hoped for a stronger color than the soft mauvey one to the right, but sometimes you get surprises when working with liquid colorants for the first time. ;-) If you want island paradise in the dead of winter, this should do the trick!
[Tropical Trio Soap]

Unscented with Goat's Milk NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: evaporated goat's milk.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A good seller since it was offered. Mild and creamy lather. NO COLOR OR SCENT ADDED.
