POSTAL NEWS FLASH! - While it lasts I can offer Flat Rate Priority Mail ... Anything you can stuff into one of those cardboard envelopes that's less than 4 pounds can be sent for $4.75 (when I use Click 'n' Ship and get a slight discount)... to ALL ZONES. This will be great for customers in higher zones who want a cheaper shipping option and are ordering in smaller quantities. I can ship anywhere from 4 to 8 soaps in one of those if I reinforce it with tape! :-) I bag each bar of soap so if the outer envelope gets wet the soaps should be just fine on your end. Orders of 4 to 8 bars will automatically be sent this way unless you specify that you want to pay more to have it mailed in a box.

For orders that are 10 or more bars, there is a wonderful option of Flat Rate BOX. Whatever I can fit into a Medium Flat Rate Box can be mailed anywhere in the U.S. for $10.20 postage cost with Click 'n' Ship (new rates). This is a much better value, however, if you are ordering more than ten soaps.

Alicia's Facial Soap NEW!

This is a bit of a departure from my usual and due to some of the special ingredients, it costs a little more. There is a story behind this. Alicia is a friend of one of my daughters, but is more like family since she lived with us for awhile and has been a part of our lives since she was a toddler. I'd given her a slice of a Dead Sea mud soap that a friend had made and she was so impressed with how nice it was on her skin she wanted to be able to get more when that one ran out. She's very fussy about her skin care products, so that got my attention. This is an economy version of the super expensive soap that my friend made! ;-) The addition of tea tree oil and Dead Sea mud should be great for your complexion. The scent is cool and refreshing.

The first name for this was "Authentically Awesome Apple" but I thought that was a bit much to squeeze onto a label. This scent is not like the other apple scents I've offered... it truly smells like a bowl of fresh apple slices! I couldn't decide which type of apple... but some have said it resembles a popular fragrance called "Macintosh Apple." If you're an apple lover, be sure to give yourself a treat and try this one... just be careful not to take a bite!

I don't often make a rain scent so if you are a fan you should snap this one up. :-) Soft, clean, refreshing... a slight touch of Lily of the Valley. While it could fall slightly into the "floral" category, it's so fresh and clean smelling, I daresay it would qualify as unisex.

Firberry

 

Ingredients: saponified coconut, palm, olive, olive pomace and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil.

It was a struggle to figure out what to call this! Now my job is to describe it. I'd say it's the quintessential holiday fragrance... a mingling of spice, bayberry, cranberry and Douglas fir. Talk about a cozy fragrance that will appeal to both sexes! This is not too heavy and the evergreen note is refreshing and nothing like Pinesol. ;-) You'll think you just walked into the living room on Christmas Eve. The color of the soap is more subdued than the scan to the right.

Each time I make this scent, I tweak it a little more. This is the favorite so far. :-)

Green Clover & Aloe (3 bars left)

Lavender shades with green always make a fetching combination... no two bars just alike. The scent is a copy of a Bath and Body Works fragrance. It's fresh, sweet and clean! :-)

This scent is hard to describe ... the best I can do is to say that it really smells clean and refreshing! It is not a sweet floral. It has a fruity, almost citrusy bite to it that makes your mouth water and underneath are some green notes. A great unisex scent.

KhakiNut (COCONUT) (2 bars left)

A lovely coconut fragrance that is a delicious smell... with the feature that it turns the soap to a light tan. In the future I might just call it Toasted Coconut, since it does have a slightly toasted quality to the scent Warning... it could set up a craving for one of those packages of coconut cookies... the ones that are ridged on top and crisp. Yum! Or... you might begin to yearn for a tropical vacation.

Lavender Flowers NEW!

Wonderful scent! It is is clean and unisex... the little flecks are provided by real lavender blossoms. The current batch was lightly tinted with a lavender, but it's so light it just gives a darker cast to the soap. :-/ In certain lighting, it might have a teensy bit of lavender "glow." ;-)

Linden ... Popular fragrance in Europe (3 bars left)

The first time I smelled this fragrance was at a local nursery. They had boxes of small imported French soaps near the register. There was one that was this kind of a bright spring green and the box was emptier than the others. When I sniffed one of the small bars, I knew why. What an appealing and fresh scent! It's light, clean, and green at the same time. Linden is a type of tree that flowers in spring with lots of nondescript creamy blossoms that hang in clusters. They do have a clean, sweet fragrance though (with a bit of a resinous topnote). It reminds me of the emerging buds on some poplar trees we have... they are covered with a sticky resin that resembles this fragrance. When I had fifteen batches of soap curing on the dining table, it was this bar the neighbor boy picked up and said, "I like THIS one." It really proves to be a unisex scent. A furnace repair guy who came to the house was offered an array of scents from which to choose and of the two bars he picked, this was the one he liked most. :-)

This is a wonderful blend of rose with a hit of raspberry and reminds me of certain roses that do have a delightfully fruity note to their delicious scent. Almost makes the mouth water... if that's possible! :-)

Unisex fragrance. A great marriage of scents... clean, subtle and uplifting! I never know how to describe sweetgrass. It's sweet, yes... but somewhat mysterious and spiritually elevating. Clary sage provides a little "bite" to the blend.

Vanilla Bean (6 bars left)

 

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, ground vanilla bean, titanium dioxide.

This is becoming more yummy the longer it cures! Straight, pure vanilla with bits of ground vanilla bean in the soap. While it was sold as an exfoliant, what it really provides is authenticity. <euphoric sigh!> :-)
