Homemade Soaps for Sale

Silverdale, Washington 98383

To Wholesalers: I'm not accepting wholesale inquiries at this time. Thank you! :-)

Soap Requests from NIGERIA or anyone else spamming for overseas shipments on credit card: I will no longer reply to those many requests. I am NOT set up to accept credit card transactions from anyone.

[Fresh Cut Soaps]

Newly cut soaps. At the suggestion of a friend, I decided to sell them with the bumpy tops untrimmed...

It provides a little more soap for the money. :-)

Available soaps will change constantly as I make different batches and sell out on others. I will probably not have set "lines" of soap like a regular business (although some varieties will remain fairly constant if they are popular)... this is a part time operation and I'm still a hobbyist at heart. The page was posted to help others make soap and expanded because you all had so much interest in the subject... soap selling is an offshoot of that.

POSTAL NEWS FLASH! - While it lasts I can offer Flat Rate Priority Mail ... Anything you can stuff into one of those cardboard envelopes that's less than 4 pounds can be sent for $4.90 (when I use Click 'n' Ship and get a slight discount)... to ALL ZONES. This will be great for customers in higher zones who want a cheaper shipping option and are ordering in smaller quantities. I can ship anywhere from 4 to 8 soaps in one of those if I reinforce it with tape! :-) I bag each bar of soap so if the outer envelope gets wet the soaps should be just fine on your end. Orders of 4 to 8 bars will automatically be sent this way unless you specify that you want to pay more to have it mailed in a box.

MINIMUM ORDER SIZE IS 3 BARS... but you don't have to order three of the same thing, or order in multiples of three for the remainder of your choices. I just don't want to fuss around with orders smaller than three bars. Thanks!

For orders that are 10 or more bars, there is a wonderful option of Regional Rate Flat Rate BOX (varies by region) or a Medium Flat Rate Box. Whatever I can fit into a Medium Flat Rate Box can be mailed anywhere in the U.S. for $10.85 postage cost with Click 'n' Ship (new rates). This is a much better value, however, if you are ordering a large number of soaps. Those boxes will easily hold 24 bars and even as many as 36? (But that's an extremely tight squeeze.) The Regional Rate box will hold up to about 20 bars and is a better deal on postage than the medium. I will base the shipping on whatever will save you money.

AOL Users: If you place a soap order from me and don't receive a reply, it is likely because your AOL account has a filter or block that refuses my messages. Please be sure to add my order email address to your "accept" list before you place your order so that my response can get through. Thanks! :-)

Bar Soaps for Sale (Vegetable Based):

Alicia's Facial Soap

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: shea butter, Dead Sea mud, tea tree and peppermint essential oils, fragrance oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $4.95 each

This is a bit of a departure from my usual and due to some of the special ingredients, it costs a little more. There is a story behind this. Alicia is a friend of one of my daughters, but is more like family since she lived with us for awhile and has been a part of our lives since she was a toddler. I'd given her a slice of a Dead Sea mud soap that a friend had made and she was so impressed with how nice it was on her skin she wanted to be able to get more when that one ran out. She's very fussy about her skin care products, so that got my attention. This is an economy version of the super expensive soap that my friend made! ;-) The addition of tea tree oil and Dead Sea mud should be great for your complexion. The scent is cool and refreshing.
[Alicia's Facial Soap]

Almond Joy with Cocoa Butter NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, baking chocolate, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Oh, my gosh! This is positively edible! If you like the combination of chocolate and toasted almond, you'll be in love with this soap... it's so good as to be decadent! Don't let anyone taste it when you're not looking! I once gave a sample of this soap to someone and she told me later that her daughter actually licked it... and she was in her twenties! ;-) I'm sure it smells much better than it tastes!
[Almond Joy Soap]

Cantaloupe NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

I'm very excited about this fragrance... and I don't even like real cantaloupe to eat. This smells heavenly and is sure to appeal to cantaloupe lovers as well as folks like me. This wonderful fresh scent is "in season" all year. Warning... a sniff of this soap may stir cravings that will send you to the store at all hours for the real thing. ;-)
[Cantaloupe Soap]

Cinnamon Spice NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, powdered cinnamon.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Wow! For years I'd never made this fragrance all by itself and was it ever a surprise. If you like cinnamon... this is the soap for you! Hot and strong. :-) Like sniffing a fresh container right out of the spice cabinet. [The real soap is a little more rose-beige and not quite as gray as the scanned image.]
[Cinnamon Spice Soap]

Cucumber-Melon NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A perennial favorite and one of mine as well! I call this ... clean, green and slightly sweet. Loved by both sexes. I don't like to eat either of these foods (except for pickles)... but sure love their scents in the soap! :-) I departed from green this time and went with a melon pink color [a bit lighter than image shown].
[Cucumber-Melon Soap]

Douglas Firbanks NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oils, patchouli essential oil, titanium dioxide, brown oxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

I'm probably dating myself with the name of this soap, but I was trying to think of something appropriate for a fir, woods and wine scent blend! :-) This combination will appeal to both sexes and is not overwhelming and heavy, but woodsy in the best and most freshly fragrant sense. :-) The blend includes Douglas fir (lots of those grow around where I live), pinot grigio, sandalwood and patchouli. This soap has a following. :-)
[Douglas Firbanks Soap]

Earthy Lavender... (Milk Soap) NEW!

Ingredients: saponified coconut, olive, palm, canola and cocoa butter oils. Also: evaporated goat's milk, lavender and vanilla fragrance oils, patchouli essential oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

This is my "flower child" soap and it seems to be quite popular! :-) Anyone who loves incense or patchouli will probably wax poetic over the fragrance, which is a combination of lavender, vanilla and patchouli that leaves the scent of patchouli on the skin after bathing. This fragrance definitely has a following. I had a gal want this bar and she had just stated how much she hated lavender... it really is a great marriage of scents where no one of the three dominates the blend. :-) The addition of goat's milk makes the lather especially creamy and soothing.
[Earthy Lavender Soap]

Green Clover & Aloe NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, green oxides, ultramarines pink and violet.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Lavender shades with green always make a fetching combination... no two bars just alike. The scent is a copy of a Bath and Body Works fragrance. It's fresh, sweet and clean! :-)

[Green Clover & Aloe Soap]

Green Tea & Willow
Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, green tea leaves, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Add this to the fresh and clean category! If you like the Green Clover & Aloe, you'll probably like this one.

[Lavender Flowers Soap]

Honeysuckle (5 bars left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

While I've had honeysuckle on the shelf for quite ahwile, I've never made it on its own... it's only been used for blending. My eldest daughter put in a request, and here is the result. The color is a beautiful soft yellow (yay!) and the scent sweet without being cloying. Honeysuckle has a fresh note that rises up to meet you! :-)
[Honeysuckle Soap]

Honeysuckle-Rose NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A nostalgic blend of honeysuckle and rose.. like the old song of the same name. :-) A classic floral that is not too heavy.
[Honeysuckle-Rose Soap]

Hyacinth

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, violet & blue ultramarine.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

My eldest daughter requested this fragrance so here it is! She got to sniff it over Memorial Day weekend and gives it an enthusiastic thumbs up... a lovely fresh floral.
[Hyacinth soap]

In Your Face! (Grapefruit-Ginger) NEW! (1 bar left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The first time I used a new colorant on this fragrance, I was striving for a soft shade and got highlighter yellow! Thus, the name. ;-) If you're an old-timer like me, you recall an old classic James Cagney movie where he pushes a grapefruit half into his girl's face. A friend recommended the name when I explained the bright color of the first batch. That being said... what a delicious scent! I just LOVE this combination of grapefruit and ginger.. it's one of my favorites. :-) Makes the mouth water for sure. F - R - E - S - H !!! (This batch is a soft shade of yellow.]

[In Your Face! Soap]

Juicy! NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A slightly "tipsy" version of Apple Slice... yummy apple mixed with Pinot Grigio scent. Fresh! If you're an apple lover, be sure to try this one!
[Juicy Soap]

KhakiNut (COCONUT) NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A lovely new coconut fragrance that is a delicious smell... with the feature that it turns the soap to a light tan. In the future I might just call it Toasted Coconut, since it does have a slightly toasted quality to the scent Warning... it could set up a craving for one of those packages of coconut cookies... the ones that are ridged on top and crisp. Yum! Or... you might begin to yearn for a tropical vacation.
[KhakiNut Soap]

Lemongrass NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: lemongrass essential oil, calendula petal, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The name says it all... the fragrance is plain, unadorned lemongrass essential oil. :-) The small flecks are calendula petals.
[Lemongrass Soap]

Linden ... Popular fragrance in Europe NEW!

Ingredients: saponified coconut, olive, palm, canola and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, wax color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The first time I smelled this fragrance was at a local nursery. They had boxes of small imported French soaps near the register. There was one that was this kind of a bright spring green and the box was emptier than the others. When I sniffed one of the small bars, I knew why. What an appealing and fresh scent! It's light, clean, and green at the same time. Linden is a type of tree that flowers in spring with lots of nondescript creamy blossoms that hang in clusters. They do have a clean, sweet fragrance though (with a bit of a resinous topnote). It reminds me of the emerging buds on some poplar trees we have... they are covered with a sticky resin that resembles this fragrance. When I had fifteen batches of soap curing on the dining table, it was this bar the neighbor boy picked up and said, "I like THIS one." It really proves to be a unisex scent. A furnace repair guy who came to the house was offered an array of scents from which to choose and of the two bars he picked, this was the one he liked most. :-)
[Linden Soap]

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookie! NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: soap chunks, fragrance oil, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Another soap that required a name adjustment (Pretty in Peppermint being the other). This combination of brown sugar, chocolate and vanilla was supposed to be Chocolate Chip Cookie. However... a peanuty overtone in the chocolate fragrance will not be denied. My eldest daughter thought the name "Peanut Blossom" was lame... so here we are with a ridiculously lengthy moniker. ;-) Aside from the name... the soap smells good enough to eat!!!
[Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookie! Soap]

Pretty in Peppermint NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: peppermint essential oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A new look for cool peppermint. It was kind of an accident... too much color getting into the white and the red not being what I expected. Still... it's rather appealing in the end... a pinky color with purplish pink swirls. :-) Some bars are mostly a soft warm pink with a few purple tinges, others have lots of swirl color. Peppermint soap has quite a following and this will prove to be stimulating and invigorating in the bath. What a nice way to wake up in the morning! :-) I don't like overdoing scents... this is mid-range pleasing, but not overpowering.
[Pretty in Peppermint Soap]

Satsuma-Guava NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, FD&C color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Extremely popular fragrance... this Satsuma blend is great! It has become the new favorite of quite a few of the young adults in my life. Actually... even the old folks like me are pretty impressed. Strong, stimulating and citrusy.
[Satsuma-Guava Soap]

Spicy Apple Pie NEW! (1 bar left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, powdered cinnamon, powdered cloves.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Mmmm.... a warm and aromatic blend of spicy apple and an extra hit of clove. This is such a great smell that you'll keep wanting to sniff it over and over. A good choice for the man in your life (But I like it too, she says in her best Irish accent). All the joy of apple pie without the calories. :-) I've had a great response with this soap so far... don't miss out!
[Spicy Apple Pie Soap]

Spicy Oat Bar NEW! (6 bars left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, pulverized rolled oats.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

This is a new combination of a favorite scent with oatmeal. If you remember the soap sold as Granny's Kitchen, you'll know what to expect. It's an appealing blend of spices with a little touch of fruitiness... and maybe just a titch of peppermint. I used to describe it as the smell of a box of Jujyfruits candies. :-) It's yummy!
[Spicy Oat Bar]

Sweetbriar (2 bars left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, wax color.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

The scent is a copy of a popular commercial soap (Nantucket Briar). It is a really delightful, complex floral... and not too sweet or heavy. I love this soft color.
[Sweetbriar Soap]

Sweet Pea

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, titanium dioxide, violet oxide, FD&C green color..
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

I had a small amount of Sweet Pea fragrance on hand and decided to mix it with a rain scent. As near as my nose can tell, the honeysuckle got the upper hand, despite being in the minority. The overall effect to this nose is first honeysuckle, then some complex rain notes behind, with a slight powder overtone to the whole thing. How's that for a convoluted description?! If you like honeysuckle and rain types... you might love this. I'm not the best judge because sweet pea is not one of my personal favorites... or rain. If I only made my own favorites the soap selection would be much smaller! ;-) I keep apologizing for color this week... but wanted you to know I'd hoped for a brighter shade of lavender with a green swirl. This turned out rather subtle.

[Sweet Pea Soap]

Tea Tree Soap with Goat's Milk (1 bar left)

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: evaporated goat's milk, tea tree essential oil.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

A variation of the plain goat's milk soap, per customer request. (Helpful for people with skin problems.)

[Unscented Goat's Milk Soap]

Vanilla Bean NEW!

Ingredients: saponified olive, coconut, palm and cocoa butter oils. Also: fragrance oil, ground vanilla bean, titanium dioxide.
Approximately 4 ounces/ $3.95 each (Mix & Match)

Straight, pure vanilla with bits of ground vanilla bean in the soap. While it was sold as an exfoliant, what it really provides is authenticity. <euphoric sigh!> :-)
[Vanilla Bean Soap]
